The Zero Waste Workbook

At RÆBURN we're dedicated to giving new life to discarded artefacts. We've turned anti-g trousers into fashion-relevant jackets, liferafts into statement shark bags and most iconically decommissioned parachutes into jackets, trousers, dresses and beyond. 

Now, we're turning original rayon Operational Navigation Chart (ONCs) maps into workbooks. These ONCs, are a series of over 200 small-scale aeronautical charts on a scale of 1: 1,000,000. Originally designed for quick visual use and radar navigation for aviation applications.

In partnership with KAPDAA, a company dedicated to repurposing off-cut waste, we've worked on a zero waste concept that transforms one map into nine workbooks. Creating an attainable collectable item that can turn on the waterfall of creativity and thought.
