Christopher Raeburn has established his eponymous brand with responsible and intelligent fashion design for a global audience. The RÆMADE ethos in particular has pioneered the reworking of surplus fabrics and garments to create distinctive and functional pieces.
Alongside this, a highly collaborative spirit informs luxurious, handcrafted and award-winning products with integrity and purpose. This innovative approach, with an unusual balance of high concept, accessibility and wearability, is applied to menswear, womenswear, luggage and accessories.
With its RÆBURN Lab in the heart of East London, RÆBURN is stocked in the best stores globally and receives media coverage worldwide.
Christopher won a Fashion Award in 2020, selected as one of the Honourees of the Environment category. The awards celebrate the individuals who have created positive change within the fashion industry, as chosen by 800 key members of the global fashion industry.
RESPONSIBILITY & INTEGRITY
The RÆBURN RÆMADE philosophy has its origins in his fascination with military materials and utilitarian clothing. Established in 2009, Christopher’s never-ending ‘archaeological’ discoveries led to his first full collection (AW10 PREPARE) using de-commissioned military stock to create limited edition outerwear for both men and women. From wool field jackets to nylon parachute canopies, each RÆMADE style is produced by meticulously deconstructing the original and reworking the materials into unique and ethical garments.

Ræmade
Paramount to the RÆBURN philosophy since 2001 is RÆMADE — reworking surplus materials, products and artefacts into completely new designs. Every RÆMADE piece is a limited edition, proudly cut and reconstructed in England.
Ræduced
Designs developed at the RÆBURN Lab are considered for their impact on the environment. Whether reworking surplus materials, minimising carbon footprint with local manufacturing, or simply producing smaller batches, waste can be RÆDUCED.
Ræcycled
Seeking the most sustainable materials around the globe, and working with responsible manufacturing partners is key to the RÆBURN brand. RÆCYCLING pre-existing materials and harnessing green technologies is fundamental to our production process.

2020

The RÆBURN Lab opens to the public with a mission to educate and inspire around Craft, Community & Creativity.
2019
Christopher Ræburn rebrands to RÆBURN following the appointment of Graeme Ræburn as Performance Director.
2018
Christopher Ræburn is appointed Global Creative Director of Timberland.
2017
Christopher Ræburn designs the uniforms for the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London.
2016
The company relocates to the RÆBURN Lab in the old Burberry Textile Factory, East London.
2015
Christopher Ræburn wins the award for Best Emerging Designer at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
2014
Christopher Ræburn wins Menswear Brand Of The Year at the UKFT Awards.
2013
Christopher Ræburn is named Artistic Director of Victorinox.
2012
Christopher Ræburn collaborates with Moncler on a collection entitled Future Heritage.
