Upcycling with Dylon
collaboration / March 27, 2020
Upcycling or rejuvenating clothes instead of discarding them is a simple way for anybody to reduce their impact and be more responsible - an element which has been at the heart of the business since its inception.
As part of our ongoing efforts to continue to celebrate Craft, Creativity and Community during this challenging time, we’re proud to announce a new campaign in partnership with responsible specialist fabric dyeing company Dylon.
For the initiative, we’ve taken 3 staple garments to demonstrate how people can take old and discoloured pieces from their wardrobes and inject new life into them at minimal cost and effort using simple upcycling techniques such as dyeing that can be done at home.
“Upcycling or rejuvenating clothes instead of discarding them is a simple way for anybody to reduce their impact and be more responsible - an element which has been at the heart of my business since its inception. I hope these easy visual guides will inspire people to look in their closet and have a try themselves, as ultimately it is the small steps that lead to positive differences for the planet.” - Christopher Raeburn
Head to Dylon to access the guides - and stay tuned as we will be sharing each upcycling project on our own channels in the coming weeks.
